Photo of Pet Shop counter and turning display

The dog bone is made of ivory shrink art punched with a dog bone paper punch. The punch is made by EK Success. It is about 1/2 long when punched out of shrink plastic, and shrinks to a little over 1/4". There is a smaller dog bone punch made by All Night Media, but it is too small to use with the shrink plastic. You could punch that one several times out of card stock and glue the bits together to get some dimension. Of course you can just use the 3D Crystal Lacquer on the bone. But I wanted some separate bones to put in a bin and the shrink plastic ones worked great.

The bird toy is given dimension with 3D Crystal Lacquer.

Here are examples of some of the printies used in my Pet Shop. I drilled holes in the wooden turning display and on the end of the counter, inserted wire for hooks; then punched 1/16" holes in the top of each card and hung them on the hooks.

Small Garden flag Print garden flag images on fabric treated for ink jet printers (I used Poly-silk adhesive by Mirage). Form a piece of heavy floral wire into the shape shown. (3.5" to 4" tall) Adhere flag back to back over the top of the flag stake. stained glass cat Print the stained glass on cling film, cut out and adhere to Pet Store windows. The cling film I used is Xerox's window decals. It prints just like transparencies but is much clearer, and clings to smooth surfaces.
Click on the pictures below to bring up the full page. For best results, print to thin photo paper (except as noted elsewhere) on your medium quality print setting. Use 3D Crystal Lacquer on the hanging display cards to give a clear raised area that looks very much like the item is in a blister pack.
